Chilean Abalones Concholepas
The soft part of the mollusk occupies practically the entire space of its shell, the latter measuring, respectively, between 11 and 15 centimeters long and between 9 and 10 cm wide.
Its meat is highly desired and its over exploitation has led it to be under constant restrictions and controls by the Chilean authorities.
The size range oscillates between 4-6, 6-8, 8-10, 10-12, 12-15, 15-20 units/ kilo
